Making a financial contribution to Sunflower CASA Project, Inc. will help us ensure every abused and neglected child in our community has a CASA to advocate for his or her best interests. Our program served 149 abused and neglected children in 2018, and each of these children were able to receive quality advocacy and support through their volunteer CASA advocates.  Our staff members are responsible for recruitment, training, and supervision of CASA volunteers.

In 2018, CASA had 84 certified volunteers with 55 volunteers actively serving 149 children.  We believe every child in the system deserves a volunteer to advocate for their best interests, particularly so that each child can find a safe, permanent home where they can thrive.  To reach this goal, we must continue to recruit and train more advocates to meet the ever-increasing number of children entering the court system each year.  This is not possible without your community support.

Stepping Stones Child Advocacy Center provided forensic interview and advocacy services to 76 abused children and their families, covering seven counties in 2018. Prevention and education workshops were provided to over 325 community members.

Sunflower Bridge staff completed 295 supervised visits, 56 monitored exchanges, and 56 intakes in 2018.

On behalf of Sunflower CASA Project, Inc. and the children of Riley, Clay, and Pottawatomie Counties whom we serve, thank you very much for your support.
