Making a financial contribution to Sunflower CASA Project, Inc. will help us ensure every abused and neglected child in our community has a CASA to advocate for his or her best interests. Our program served 141 abused and neglected children in 2015, and each of these children was able to receive quality advocacy and support through their volunteer CASA advocate.  Our program operates with four staff members who are responsible for recruitment, training, and supervision of CASA volunteers.  In 2015, CASA had 72 volunteers and served many of the children entering the court system.  We believe every child in the system deserves a volunteer to advocate for their best interests, particularly so that each child can find a safe, permanent home where they can thrive.  To reach this goal, we must continue to recruit and train more advocates to meet the ever-increasing number of children entering the court system each year.  This is not possible without financial support for our staff.

Stepping Stones Child Advocacy Center provided forensic interview and advocacy services to 61 children and their families, covering nine counties in 2015. Prevention and education workshops were provided to 637 community members.

Sunflower Bridge staff completed 185 supervised visits and 160 monitored exchanges in 2015 for 38 families.

On behalf of Sunflower CASA Project, Inc. and the children of Riley, Clay, and Pottawatomie Counties whom we serve, thank you very much for your support.
